Pomegranate Paste

Pomegranate paste, or rob-e-anar, is a popular Iranian condiment used to flavor a variety of dishes. It is made by reducing pomegranate juice into a thick, syrupy paste. Pomegranate paste is a key ingredient in many traditional Iranian dishes such as Fesenjan (a walnut and pomegranate stew), Ghormeh Sabzi (a herb stew), and Khoresht-e-Fesenjoon (a chicken or meat stew with walnuts and pomegranate).
