SANANDAJ – Mohammad Bakhtiar Khalighi, Director General of Industry, Mining and Trade (IMT) of Kurdistan province, announced that exports through the three customs offices of Siranband Baneh, Sanandaj, and Bashmaq Marivan reached $361 million during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21–December 21, 2025).

Speaking at a meeting reviewing the province’s foreign trade status, Khalighi revealed that the total volume of exports, imports, and transit through Kurdistan’s borders hit $4.9 billion during this period, underscoring the province’s strategic role in regional trade exchanges.
