According to Mehr News Agency, Narges Moradkhani said in the government’s council and the private sector of the province: Despite the current economic challenges, effective cooperation between the government and the private sector can help achieve the province’s long-term goals.
She added: The 43% growth in Zanjan province’s exports in 2024 has shown that the private sector and the government can have successful performances in difficult economic conditions alongside each other.
The Deputy of Economic Affairs of Zanjan Province also emphasized the need to facilitate trade procedures and eliminate obstacles in the path of exports and said: Our goal for the coming years is to achieve one billion dollars in exports, for which we need more cooperation and to solve the existing problems in the trade and export sector.
Moradkhani announced the planning of Zanjan Chamber of Commerce to identify new target markets and develop the province’s exports and added: Business trips to various countries and utilizing the capacities of Iranians abroad can be an effective step towards expanding the province’s product exports.
The Director General of Industry, Mining, and Trade of Zanjan Province also stated in this meeting that there is no delay in approving and registering the allocation orders of foreign currency in the province and added: The process after approval and pending in the queue for central bank currency allocation affects all production units, which is beyond the control of the province.
Amir Ali Masibi added: All our efforts are to prevent work from being delayed at the provincial level, but we do not have access to the central bank to address the concerns of economic activists.
He emphasized the need to establish a permanent representative of the central bank in the provinces and added: This can create significant openings.
