Zangan’s Export Destinations Expand by 10 Countries in First Half of the Year
Zangan province has significantly expanded its export destinations, reaching 36 countries in the first half of the year, a 10-country increase compared to the same period last year.
Hadi Taghiloo, Deputy Director General of the Industries, Mining, and Trade Department of Zangan Province, announced this during a meeting held at the Governor’s Office. According to Taghiloo, the province’s 1,126 active industrial units have provided employment for 47,116 individuals.
The province has exceeded its export target for the period, surpassing the set goal of $308 million. In addition to expanding its export destinations, Zangan has added 20 new products to its export basket.
Taghiloo emphasized that the value of exports from Zangan’s customs has increased by 27% compared to the same period last year. The province’s total foreign trade in the first half of the year reached $551 million, with a positive trade balance of 75%.
