Zangan Province, Iran, has significantly expanded its export basket, adding 20 new products in the first half of the year.
According to Majid Golshani, Director General of Industries, Mining and Trade of Zanjan Province, the province now exports to 36 countries, a 10-country increase compared to the same period last year.
“In addition to expanding our market reach, we’ve diversified our export products,” said Golshani. “Twenty new items have been added to our export basket, providing buyers with a wider range of high-quality Iranian goods.”
The province exported 533,000 tons of goods worth $313 million in the first half of the year, exceeding the target of $308 million. The total foreign trade of Zanjan Province stood at $551 million during this period, with a positive trade balance of 75%.
