The economic relations of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with West Azerbaijan are being strengthened

According to Mehr News reporter, Sheikh Mustafa Abdulrahman on Wednesday morning at the second international Maku economic cooperation summit with ECO and Eurasian countries as part of the first day of the international investment conference in West Azerbaijan said: We intend to increase our trade communications with Iran, and West Azerbaijan holds a special position for us.

The head of Iran and Russia communications office also stated in this conference that the governments’ policies must serve economic development, and he expressed: The existing capacities in Iran are unique, but unfortunately these capacities and opportunities have not been introduced and have led to a reduction in economic activities.

Rajab Safarov stated that Russia has always been in contact with Iran and said: Unfortunately, the major target markets are still neglected; even a joint bank between Iran and Russia shows we still have much work to do in the field of trade.

The head of Iran and Russia communications office said: We must do several important works to make the Maku Free Zone an economic paradise, one of which is introducing your important economic capacities. Billions of our money have been freed, and our investors do not know where to invest, while Iran is the safest country in the world.

Safarov stated: You are our friendly country, and collaborating with Iran is an honor for every Russian citizen. You should take our hand, and if our investors know a return on investment is achieved, considering Iran’s security, they will definitely invest.
