According to the Mehr News Agency reporter, Hossein Sanjarani, in a press conference on Sunday noon on the occasion of Journalist Day, while honoring the memory of martyrs, especially recent martyrs, considered national unity as the key to Iran’s endurance and progress and described the role of journalists as a vital and sacred communication bridge between the people and officials, appreciating their efforts in reflecting problems and realities.
The CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sistan Free Trade-Industrial Zone Organization, pointing out that media criticism stems from shortcomings in the executive body, emphasized: A responsible person means being accountable, and we must accept criticisms and strive to resolve problems.
He provided a report on the formation process of this zone and stated: Although the initial approval of the zone in the parliament dates back to 2022, its operational and executive phase seriously began from late 2023 after completing administrative and organizational procedures, and practically from mid-November 2024, we entered the operational phase for the free zone, while challenges such as the martyrdom of the president and managerial changes slowed down this process.
Follow-up for importing essential goods and cars from the Sistan Free Zone continues
Sanjarani stated: With the reasoning and follow-ups made and considering the special conditions of the region and the existence of 26 villages with a population of over 15,000 within the free zone, efforts are underway to remove these obstacles and obtain the necessary permits for importing essential goods and cars.
Emphasizing the high capacities of the Sistan region in trade, production, and export sectors, he said: For the success and prosperity of the region, we need a collective determination and a chain of cooperation among the people, officials, and investors.
The CEO of the Sistan Free Zone considered utilizing modern knowledge and specialization as the key to success and added: Merely having economic theories is not enough, but programs must be implemented with efficient and scientific executive methods and by using specialized individuals.
