Mazandaran Exports Surge: 125 Items Exported to 42 Countries

Mazandaran: A Growing Export Hub

Mazandaran Customs has reported a significant increase in exports, with 125 different products valued at $172 million being shipped to 42 countries this year.

Amir Jamshidi, the Customs Supervisor of Mazandaran, announced that a total of over 961,000 tons of goods were exported. The majority of these exports were from the ports of Amol ($80 million), Amir Abad ($46 million), Sari ($34 million), Noshahr ($8 million), and Fereydunkenar ($5 million).

Iraq emerged as the top export destination, with $71 million worth of goods being shipped. Other major markets included Russia ($57 million), Turkmenistan ($13 million), Kazakhstan ($9 million), and the United Arab Emirates ($6 million).

Key export products included dairy products ($62 million), cement ($23 million), plastics ($20 million), base metals ($17 million), and various food products ($12 million).
