Iran’s Exports to Asian Countries Surge by 10%

Iran’s exports to Asian countries have experienced a significant surge in the first six months of the year, reaching a value of $12 billion. This represents a 10% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to the Director General of the West Asia Office at Iran’s Trade Development Organization, Jordan has witnessed the highest growth in imports from Iran, with a remarkable increase from $2 million to over $13 million.

Other notable destinations for Iranian exports in the region include Lebanon, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, the UAE, and Qatar. These countries have reported growth rates ranging from 12% to 89%.
