Iran Boosts Veterinary Drug Exports to Neighboring Countries
Lorestan province in Iran has achieved a significant milestone in its veterinary pharmaceutical exports. The province recently exported 14,800 kilograms of veterinary drugs to Iraq, demonstrating Iran’s growing capacity in the production and export of high-quality animal health products.
Mustafa Zabardast, Director General of Veterinary Services in Lorestan, announced that three types of anti-parasitic veterinary drugs were successfully exported to Iraq. This achievement follows the issuance of manufacturing licenses for various veterinary drugs in the province, ensuring a surplus production that can be directed towards international markets.
Zabardast emphasized the importance of supporting domestic production and expanding exports as a key strategy for the province’s economic growth. The export of veterinary drugs to Iraq aligns with Iran’s broader goal of increasing non-oil exports and strengthening its position in the global market.
