Golestan Province has reported a significant 44% increase in its exports through the province’s customs offices in the first seven months of the current year.
According to Darvishali Hasanzadeh, the Director General of Industries, Mining, and Trade of Golestan, the province exported $244 million worth of goods during this period.
He added that the total value of exports from Golestan’s customs offices last year amounted to $326 million.
Hasanzadeh emphasized the growing economic relations between the province and neighboring countries such as Turkmenistan, stating that these three countries are among the main export destinations for Golestan’s products.
He also mentioned that Golestan’s share of exports to the Eurasian Economic Union countries reached 7% in the first six months of this year.
