Alborz Province Exceeds Export Targets for Food and Beverage Products
Alborz province has achieved a significant milestone in food and beverage exports, with authorities issuing certificates for over 24,000 tons of products in the first half of the year.
According to Maryam Dai, Deputy of Food and Drug Administration of Alborz University of Medical Sciences, a total of 902 health certificates were issued for food and beverage exports during this period.
The exported products included a wide range of items, such as pasta, biscuits, meat and non-meat canned goods, cocoa products, glucose syrup, and more. These products were destined for various countries, including Germany, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, China, Russia, Oman, Canada, Kenya, South Sudan, Venezuela, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Australia, and others.
In addition to food products, 320 certificates of conformity for agricultural products were issued for 7,000 tons of lettuce and celery, which were exported to Russia.
