According to Mehr News Agency, Amir Ali Masibi said in the meeting on the development of provincial production unit exports: Last year, 673 million dollars of exports amounting to 606 thousand tons were carried out from the province based on the origin of production, which in the year before that (1402) this amount was 484 thousand tons worth 575 million dollars.
He referred to the realization of the province’s export goals last year and continued: Considering the determination of 619 million dollars as the province’s export target in 1403, we witnessed a 109% realization of this goal.
The Director General of Industry, Mining and Trade of Zanjan Province stated: Last year, eight new countries were added to the province’s export destinations, and 41 new products were added to the province’s export basket.
Masibi also mentioned the 631 million dollars worth of goods imported last year and continued: More than 95% of the province’s imports consist of raw materials, equipment, and production line machinery of production units.
The Director General of Industry, Mining and Trade of Zanjan Province said: Temporary imports grew by 61% last year, which indicates an increase in exports in the coming months.
Masibi emphasized: The targeted amount for the province’s exports this year is 758 million dollars.
